Puppy vs Binkie

Mr. Waylon meeting Poppy the Puppy.

Yes, that big smile makes me believe he likes his new friend.

But will Poppy the puppy win over Mr. Binkie? ONLY time will tell.

Either way I am sooooooooooooooooo in love with this little prince of mine.

A wee bit of heaven
drifted down from above-
A handful of happiness,
a heart full of love.

The mystery of life,
so sacred and sweet-
The giver of joy
so deep and complete.

Precious and priceless,
so lovable, too-
The world's sweetest miracle,
baby, is you.

  1. I don't know why my last comment went to your e-mail. I don't think I changed anything when I posted. I went through my Google account...who knows...sometimes I can be a little techno challenged :) Anyhoo, Waylon is such a little sweetie with his Poppy the puppy. I love the poem by Helen Steiner Rice. My baby boy is off to college this fall...eighteen years has gone by in the blink of an eye.

    Hugs,
    Anne

  3. We're here, we're here! I've been reading all along, but have been so busy since we've been home that we've not had much time to comment.

I didn't know you had a little cottage out back. That is beautiful! What a wonderful place to go to get some peace.

I am so looking forward to seeing more of Shannie this summer and to read her "words of wisdom." I so often think of her singing about Joy in her heart. I find myself picking weeds singing that song and it always brings a smile. It makes the task at hand more enjoyable.

It makes me happy to see that you are focusing on the many things that make you happy.

OK my blogging buddy, time to go pay the bills and then pick more weeds. That means I'll be outside getting muddy and singing to my hearts content!

    Hugs,
    Kim

But not that stinky fish had Grandpa...he better be nice to him! Well go weed the garden so those deer can get closer...lol...Any closer she would have had that fawn in your HOUSE! Oh country living...got to love it! Hugs my sweet friend! Have a blessed day!
