Although I may not blog for days, my camera is still never far from
me. Here are a few of my favorite shots from this week.
One thing I do is name them. I don’t often share the
names but today I’m going to. Some will be self explanatory and some have a
story behind their names.
This first one I call...
Paper Wings
(To me the flower in the center looks like it has wings. And when I
first looked at it my head started singing this melody from a song I like….Oh how could I expect to fly with only paper
wings. ~it’s from Hope Floats and it’s called… "Paper wings")
Original World Wide Web
Acorn Prophecy
(I have always heard green acorns on the ground mean an early fall
and a long winter. I guess we will see if the little acorn prophecy comes true.)
Heart On My Tree
(A play on the old saying, heart on my sleeve. In my mind’s eye my
heart looks like the one on my tree….A deep gash of a wound right in the center
of it.)
Time Out
Vacancy
Sunbeam Surfer
The Message
(Shannie will often collect natures little treasures and leave them
as messages to me placed around the yard. This is... you make my heart fly.)
Unity
(First thing that went through my mind when I saw this shot is John
17:23
~I in them and you in me, that
they may experience such perfect “unity”
that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them. I
love that kind of unity.....were you don’t know where one begins and the other
ends.)
Golden Years
(For 70 plus years this man has lived on the same land. He has buried
his wife and his only child. However through all that tragedy he still finds
joy in the simplicity of just watching his dog hunt rabbits.)
The Hunt
True Gratitude
(How Ringer looks at his Papa after the hunt.)
It Is Well
(with my soul)
Joy
(Grapes are a symbol of joy so when I see them I’m reminded God
promises us joy.)
So there is a quick peek into some of my week through the lens.
Hope you enjoyed!
