Teal it all...

I have falling so in love with this color the last few years that ever chance I get to paint something teal
I go for it...

This bench and table were my latest victims.
The fabric on the table was a 25 cent find at a church sale with the vintage Newberry tag still on it. (American Pickers eat your heart out!)  Another one of my joys....collecting vintage fabric...isn't it groovy!...LOL

They have now become my kitchen island.

However the dogs believe it is the new doggie bed...

The doggies always win :)

I even have leftover paint to play around with when I get the
crafty itch.

So there it is ....I'm tealing it all ;)

defiant shadows...

Our Granddaughter met Glory for the first time today...
They wanted to touch each other in the worst way....but because Glory is not done with her treatment for mange it could not be.

This next shot I love...I called it "defiant shadows"... somehow they were going to find a way to touch...

I looked up the word glory today and this is one of the meanings I found
.~A state of extreme happiness or prosperity~

To us this face is true...

Living with Glory

We enjoyed the sunshine...

Wow....sorry I asked...

Glory love's exploring her new world.

She walks back to check in with me often.
Yep because I'm the lady with the goodies :)

However by the end of the day she was not so happy with me...

...it was monkey bug bath time :(

To Him be Glory!

We are very happy with Glory's progress, although she has a road ahead of her we know the hardest road is behind her.
Please feel free to share this video.
Remember we are the only voice they have.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....NOT!

Woke up to snow this morning....I LOVE SNOW!  However...

...our new house guest does not share my passion.

Maybe Horton was right...

Well while we have been working hard to get our newest foster doggie well I thought I would just take a few mintues to blog and share this photo. I came across this little munchkins finding something very intriguing in the yard.
Hope it makes you giggle like it did us.

Now do yourself a favor take a break, sit down with your favorites magazine and a nice hot cup of coffee and think spring!

  AND BE BLESSED!

Whyyyyyyyyy

Why do people do this! This poor girl was dumped in my neighborhood yesterday... hours before we had an ice storm.

Thank you Jesus she was found before the storm...She is safe and warm with us and we just got home from the vets office. She is being treated for mange and a secondary skin infection, is very weak and suffering from malnutrition.

This is all just heartless neglect!

But despite all this she is the sweetest, gentlest soul. We named her Glory. Vet believes she is a young girl...and we know now she is at the beginning of her "Happy Ever After!"

TO HIM BE GLORY!

This is the LORD'S doing; It is marvelous in our eyes

Last evening our Granddaughter took her tabret and decided to bless every room in the house by dancing and singing to Jesus...
...she danced and skipped from room to room.

When she got to our bedroom were Poppy was resting and watching tv....she told him to turn off the tv and then danced all around the bed....we all giggled so hard!

she continued to danced and leaped from room to room...

Then she said lets go out in the yard....so out we went. This is when we got stuck...as Shannie put it...She put her tabret down and lifted up her hands and started singing and worshiping God...I wasn't able to take pictures of that because the presence of God became overwhelming at this point. She just kept saying isn’t it beautiful Grammy….isn’t it beautiful. I love how the Lord will manifest his love and joy through a child…. Jesus is amazing!

We went to bed with our joy cups overflowing!

The pack within the pack

Jebediah was given to us as payment for doing a favor for a neighbor...country doctors get paid in chickens ....rescuers get paid in dogs. His brother Judah also came to us...he was adopted out soon after arriving, but Jebbo decided to stay and be king of the little guys…I would say personal bodyguard but the 2 ½ pound Maltese beats him up….He’s a lover not a fighter.

Daisy May Sunshine! A friend of mine saw an ad for free puppies at a little country dinner in our area. I was looking for a larger Therapy dog so I called and after talking to the owners and viewing some videos of the litter I decided to go see Daisy the next day to temperment test her to see if she would make a good Therapy dog. Well right before I was ready to go the family text and said someone else had taken her. So I just thought ok well then she wasn't the one. I decided not to go because she was the only one I was interested in. A few days later I get a text she was returned because the family had 3 small kids and realized it was to much work with a puppy. I've always believed if something is meant to be nothing can stop it. So Daisy is now being trained to be a Therapy dog.

Tiny Tim was surrender from his breeder into rescue because he had a club foot. The vet was able to correct that and the uti he had when he got here…he was literally peeing blood….poor baby.  He has been here for over a year and is technically still up for adoption …but he and our granddaughter seem to think he has found his forever home. ;)

Here is Gwendolyn enjoying a meaty Jebbadoodle thigh.

They have now made a little mini pack of “large” breed dogs in our home...The rest are mostly under 12 pounds and mostly Dachshunds.
They are all gentle giants and the large “little” breed pack rule and reign over them.

To everything there is a season...

One of the things I love so much about living in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania
is that we have four distinctive season.
One seeming to try and outdo the other with it's splender... Each winning me over when it's here and convincing me this is my favorite season...All giving me wonderful subject matter to snap away at....Hope you enjoy my eyes view of our seasons.

I'm a hoarder!

In going through my photos one day I realized I had so many pictures of Noses, Tushies and Toes....
They say when you have more then 3 of anything you have become a collector...
...I believe I have become a hoarder of dogs Noses, Tushies and Toes!

Then in a further investigation I realized...

... my affliction has now expanded to the 2 legged members of my household.

Oh the shame...
