Never miss a good chance to shut up.

When I get it out of my heart and head, and can articulate how I'm feeling … I’ll be back.
Yes, sometimes even I can’t find words. But silence is good because God's voice booms the loudest in our silence.
When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.

My cup overflows with blessings.

Which one of these things is not like the other?

Ok, if you’re not a camera person I know right now you’re going… “Anna please don’t bore us…it’s Monday we are barely conscious as it is”. But it’s not what you think.
Yesterday a sweet friend handed me a package with one of these lenses in it.
It took my mind a few minutes to figure out what it was.
And I have to say I love ingenious. What kind of mind looks at a camera lens and goes …”man that would make a great cup!” LOL.

Well I don’t know but whoever you are…I think you’re brilliant! And Miller my friend it was a perfect gift and God’s perfect timing. Yesterday was Richards birthday and it was a really hard day....but that 's all I can say about that because it just hurts to much right now. Thank you sweet friend… I love you!

PS. Now pray I don't pour coffee into one of my real lenses by accident...lol

Update on Waylon

Finally was able to hold my precious prince.  He is still in the nicu but he is improving. His little body just needs to learn how to regulate his sugar and that will come in time. So keep the prayers coming so he and Mommy can go home soon.

Oh how I love this face!

Taken a short break

Taking a break today from blogger world ….I have Grammy business to attend to.  :D
But here is my latest photoshoot that I believe my doggie friends will enjoy... with one of my new backdrops and my… always willing to do anything for a treat… puppy’s.

Have a blessed day everyone.

Building bears, memories and giving hearts.

I interrupt this regularly scheduled blog post to announce the arrival of my perfect little Grandson Waylon Mark
One of my friends said “he looks like he is praising Jesus already in this picture”. LOL… that’s my boy!
Yup there goes another piece of my heart forever!

He is 6 lbs 1 oz and 18 inches long. He is doing well however he had to be shipped right to the nicu because he was having a hard time keeping his temperature up and his blood sugar was low.  So I did not get to hold my precious gift from God yet. But I did get to say hello in the hallway as they were moving him.
Yes baby I’m sad too I couldn’t hold you in my arms…but you go get all toasty warm my little King and we will make up for it …trust Grammy! J
I am so proud of my daughter who had a pretty tough time of it and ended up needing a C-section. She was amazing and strong. But I am so glad that part is over… I was a nervous wreck.  Yes Sharayah now you know…Mom was falling apart inside!
It’s really tough when your baby is having a baby…like labor there is no way to prepare for it.

So I am sending all my blessings and love to my sweet Mama Sharayah, awesome Daddy Kevin…and perfect baby Waylon. I love you all so very much…thank you for making me a Grammy again! J

Oh and Mr. Waylon was born on my parents 50th anniversary…what a gift... a great grandson!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MOM AND DAD!

Below is my blog post which I think was perfect for today although when I did it I had no clue Waylon would be here.

Took Miss Shannie and her bff Jadyn to
Build-A-Bear .
They both have their birthdays in March so my girlfriend and I always try to do something special with them around that time.

Decisions, decisions.

Choose, choose… you must choose!
Shannie is having a hard time choosing between the cat or the dog.

All I can say is the dog world over here is going to be in an uproar when they find out she chose the CAT!
Below she is listening to the voice box she had put in kitty's foot.  She recorded “Shannie is a princess”. lol

And here she is recording a special message for her cousin Waylon…to put in that little puppy for him.

Really could you say no to these eyes…

She even kissed a heart and had it placed inside of his foot just for Waylon. She named him
Poppy the Puppy
and gave him Richard's birthday.
So Waylon could always have a piece of Poppy with him.
(Yes Kim get the tissues)

Jadyn chose a puppy also and a bear to give to her brother. So sweet.
We are blessed with such thoughtful girls. J

Here is Cinderella Kitty in her hot pink car...

...& Poppy the Puppy… yeehawwwww

Yes, building bears, memories and giving hearts. J
My peeps... I love them all so very much.
Thank you ladies for letting me get a picture...and now you’re all famous...lol

My unconscious world.

One day when I got in the car with Shannie and started to pull out of the driveway she said
“Grammy you didn’t say your catchphrase”
I was like really…. what’s that?
And she pointed out to me I always say
“off like a herd of turtles”
as we get moving.
LOL
It’s amazing how you do things and you’re not even conscious of it.
I wonder what else I’m doing I'm not conscious of? LOL

Feeling pink today

Actually I’m feeling a little blue today so I thought a little pink would help.
I don’t know what makes some days worse then others…they just are.
The sadness just comes.
I think it would really help if spring would just come already!
Please Lord rescue me.

Easter Weekend 2013

We had such a blessed Easter weekend…my little buddy and I.

Shannie colored her eggs and decorated some cookies.

And when we turned our backs we found out Glory sure liked the eggs too!

GLORY! You ate Humpty Dumpty’s family… BAD DOG!
(What Shannie said when she scolded her..LOL)
Yes the silly mishaps on holidays always become a family’s
favorite stories in years to come. J

Well the cookies were saved and Shannie brought them to church for her friends. J

Then of course we had to have a photoshoot at my new favorite place with my all time favorite face…hehe

And at church my little princess and some of her friends honored the Lord with a praise dance.

I also had the honor of photographing 2 precious baby’s this weekend.
Grace Lauren…the little girl born on my birthday.

And baby Evan…who is an amazing miracle of God.
He was born with a hole in his heart on Christmas day.
His mother called a family from our church to come to the hospital and gave him to them…she just did not want him. I cried the first time I held his little body in my arms and found this out.
He was so small and frail with a tube coming out of his nose and his breathing labored. But he is a fighter! And so very wanted now…not only by the wonderful family that took him in but by our whole church family.

My sweet Evan may these feet always take you on the path God has for your life.

So that was our blessed Easter. Hope yours was as well. J
