Deer ones

One of the great joys for me living in the country is looking out my door and finding wildlife in my back yard. Today we had a herd of deer pass through...

                                                         ...so beautiful and majestic!

However the dogs go nuts…

But it don’t seem to phase the deer what so ever…they took their time eating what they wanted then moved on their merry way. 

The heart of a rescuer

I love this poem….It’s been floating around the internet for a while.  The author is unknown.  Today I decided to post it with my own photos.  I believe it is the perfect words to describe the heart of a rescue person. J

And a child shall lead them

Our Granddaughter keeps us so hip.

Foot Fetish Friday

I know I have this crazy fetish for photographing feet.  I look through the word of God and see so many scriptures in reference to feet. I think God delights in everything about us. Like parents with a new born baby.

Think about it we even get a copy of them stamped on a certificate. 

"How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!"

(Isaiah 52:7)

"Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off."

(Nehum 1:15)

"My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment."

(Luke 7:46)

 So maybe this fetish is a God thing after all. :)

Did a photo shoot for a dear friend yesterday who was told by the doctor's there is a complication with her pregnancy, so they may have to take the baby early. Well they can only report what they see in the natural ....we however know there is a much higher authority... and that is the word of the Lord.
