Birds of a feather

Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value then they?

I often think of that scripture when I watch birds. :)

I can’t get to my bird feeders to fill them so I have been throwing seed on the snow…that is now almost eye leave with my window. So yesterday I spend most of my day just sitting and watching the birds.

I know they're just common birds but I’m just a common person…and I found great pleasure in watching and photographing them. Particularly these two…they took my breath away because it became like a pictorially
  of my life.

Birds of a feather don’t always stick together…sometimes one of them gets called home…

Oh that I could have wings like a dove and fly away…

Appearing and disappearing doggies

Although the snow has brought the appearance of fun little doggie sculptures, like this Dachshund head…

It has also piled up to Jebediah’s head.  I've lost being able to see the little dogs about 2 feet ago…and I do believe if we get any more Jebbo is going to disappear on me too.

Our daily routine

We got another 8 inches of snow after we tucked our little selves into bed last night….so this is becoming our daily routine.

Shoveling out the longggg driveway…

…and playing in the snow :)

Snippets of our day thus far.

You're nuts if you think we are coming down there!

How Shannie looks after shoveling snow.

How Lil Ricky looks after plowing snow.

Remains of the last storm.

Time for some hot coco before we're out the door to shovel again.
