Silent Sunday

Sure Fit

With a pack of dogs I’m always looking for a way to save my furniture. I know it would just be easier to train them to stay off it…but what's the fun in that. ;)

So I was flipping through a magazine recently and saw an ad for Sure Fit slip covers.

And below is the after. I have to say they are made very well and I’m happy with the product. I’ll let you know how well it holds up with a pack of dogs…that’s the real test…lol

But I must say this is still my favorite look. Hehehe J

Winter of my soul

I find something so comforting in a sunset... more so now than I ever have.

They remind me I've made it through another day.  And when they are like this... they remind me life is still beautiful.

I find winter sunsets are often some of the most spectacular. I believe God intended it this way to get us through the cold dreary months.

I feel like my winter started in August…who knows maybe that means there will be an early spring J

Morning Glory

The other morning I found Glory curled up at Shannie’s feet on the couch.

It was so cute the way they were cuddling I grabbed my camera.

Like I've said many times "picture speak"... so I'll let them tell the rest...

Looks like neither of them were very happy with that kiss.

LOL!

The God of All Comfort.

I stinking love Lil Ricky soooo much!

She is the sweetest, cuddliest, silliest, nuttiest, feistiest little dog I’ve ever owned …I can sit and watch her for hours. I’m really beginning to believe she is a piece of Richard in a fur ball…lol. One of my dear friends puts it best. She said “Why are we all shocked God is comforting you with a dog?”

She is however good for scaring the stew out of me about once a day. She can find the darndest places to curl up and go to sleep.  We were at the vet last week and she's still so very tiny…just over 2 lbs. I think our field rats are bigger.

  But this last time she really got me. I knew I had gated her in the bathroom ....which meant there wasn't a lot of places to hide...so when I couldn't find her I was really starting to freak out. Till I took a closer look in her toy box ...

Yup that's the little stinker all curled up with her toy friends... snoozing away!

Party hounds we are not...we were all in bed long before the ball dropped LOL.
