The man in my future.

There are so many blessings this year I have to be thankfully for.

My new grandbaby on the way.

Restoration with family and friends.

I owe no man nothing but to love them.

But the thing I am most thankful for is the man in my future.

Yes because of the work Jesus did at the cross my beloved Richard is not just the man of my past but he is the man of my future. And I am so thankful The Lord let me have the time I had with him here and that it’s not over.... because Richard is in my future. I was probable the least deserving person to have been given a husband that loved and cherished me to the depth Richard did. Trust me, before Jesus I was a retched person .... I know we are all retched without Jesus but I put the retch in retched and hurt many people.  So for God to bless me with such a love...one that he has used to forever change my life and then also made a way for me to spend eternity with .... I am so thankful.

May your day be filled with blessing and cherished memories of time spent with loved ones...and may your hearts be filled with graduated. J

My last and my first.

Thanksgiving was our favorite holiday together. We loved opening up our home to our friends and family and putting on a feast J Richard of course was in charge of the food and I was in charge of the frill.
I’m so thankful for this last Thanksgiving we had together….it was so blessed!

They are memories I will treasure forever!

So tomorrow is going to be my first Thanksgiving without my love.
I’m still in charge of the frilly. My wonderful family is in charge of the food and I am determined to have a blessed time, because Richard would want nothing less.
I’m going to end this post with a quote from my all time favorite movie and that is... “Hope Floats”. Richard and I use to call it our love story because he waited so long for this crazy, messed up girl…lol
“Beginnings are usually scary, endings are usually sad, but it's what's in the middle that counts. So when you find yourself at the beginning, just give hope a chance to float up. And it will.”

PS. Note from Mom...really this is just a photo update in case anyone was wondering if my camera only took pictures of Lil Ricky anymore...lol
The pack is well… as you can see and I’m sure greatly enjoying the reprieve they have received from their puparazzi Mama.

Rescuing the rescuer.

Lil Ricky meeting new friends down at the stable this weekend. She was ok till the horse snorted right in her face.
My friend and I laughed really hard at her reaction to that.
I know, what a mean Mommy…lol
I guess I’d be scared too if I had someone  blowing snot in my face whose pile of poo poo was bigger than I am.
I have to say I sure do enjoy watching her experience life and we do have some great adventures together. Some have just been the places I have snuck her into..hehehehe.
I think her favorite was Red Lobster…or maybe that’s just mine and I’m looking for an excuse to go back.
Anywho...
My friend said the most profound thing to me about Lil Ricky.
She said " I think this one  rescued  you."

Hummmm...what do you think Lil Ricky?

Restoration is not something coming.

When the Lord started to speak to my heart that he was bring restoration to my life I looked at it as something coming. It wasn’t till the other day I realized when God speaks restoration it is not something just in the future. Yes, the fullness of it often is.  But what I had not realized is it starts the minute he speaks. It’s in the little things at first…. the days without tears…. the nights when sleep does come. And if we will look for it the Holy Spirit will open our eyes to see it.
One of the first scriptures the Lord brought me to when Richard went home was in Isaiah…and it started with... “Your days of grieving are over.” Now in the natural that sure don’t feel like that is true. However when I look at it from this new revelation that the beginning of restoration is now. I can rejoices even through my snot and tears that my days of grieving are over and that restoration has begun! So now I earnestly look for glimpse of restoration and rejoice at even the littlest ones the Lord shows me. Because one day I know I am going to look back and see how all these little pieces are going to come together into a beautiful restored life that will bring glory to the goodness of God!

Sightseeing in Heaven

Ok I knew she was perfect but now she has sealed the deal for my heart.

Look how fascinated she is with the snowflakes on this bag. Oh my lil fuzzy snowflake loving soulmate!  hehehehehe

If you have read this blog for a while or know me personally you know I LOVE snow… I mean really, really LOVE it… absolutely adore it!
I turn into a giddy little girl the minute I see it and still play in it till my nose and toes are frozen.
I love the way it smells, taste, feels and most of all I love the overwhelming feeling of peace that always comes when the earth is blanketed with it and everything seems to just be still.
Have you been to the warehouses where snow is stored…
Job 38:22
~No…but I sure know the first place I’m going to be visiting with my honey when I get to heaven…giggle!
