Showers of Blessings

We had my daughter’s baby shower this weekend. And WOW did our friends and family ever shower her with the most beautiful gifts! She felt so loved and blessed.

And like most family gathering no matter what they are…no one wants there pictures posted …which I complete understand.  I think I have just traumatized them all with shoving my camera in their faces far too many times.  But like always my camera is drawn to one of two things anyway ….kids or dogs…and since the only dog there was…(yes there was a dog..lol) Lil Ricky it was the kiddies that my lens migrated too.  I’m posted all their pictures now because once they grow up in this family we will never see them on film again…lol.

Ok this one’s learning the hide from the camera ropes way to early…lol

For me it is the little touches that make a person feel like you gave their party much thought…here are a few…

Those were the boxes that held favors for all our guest…either a candle or some mints.

The winner of this jar below was our Reverend. After she jokingly placed her hands on my head acting like she was trying to get the count of the peanuts through the spirit of God. Now I’m a little freaked out…I wonder what else she sucked out of my brain….lol

My daughter said this was one of her favorite gifts. They were cards the guest were asked to fill out and bring along  with them to the shower with words of wisdom for the new Mom and Daddy to be. :)

And of course I had to make sure Shannie and Lil Ricky were sporting some of the theme as well.

Which if you haven’t guessed by now was elephants. Something my daughter has been collecting since she was a little girl and it just seemed like the perfect theme for her baby boys shower.

I do have to say this was one of my favorite gifts….and NO I didn’t give it….lol

I want to thank everyone for blessing my baby girl with such a lovely shower.  My peeps are the best in the world!
