My last and my first.

Thanksgiving was our favorite holiday together. We loved opening up our home to our friends and family and putting on a feast J Richard of course was in charge of the food and I was in charge of the frill.
I’m so thankful for this last Thanksgiving we had together….it was so blessed!

They are memories I will treasure forever!

So tomorrow is going to be my first Thanksgiving without my love.
I’m still in charge of the frilly. My wonderful family is in charge of the food and I am determined to have a blessed time, because Richard would want nothing less.
I’m going to end this post with a quote from my all time favorite movie and that is... “Hope Floats”. Richard and I use to call it our love story because he waited so long for this crazy, messed up girl…lol
“Beginnings are usually scary, endings are usually sad, but it's what's in the middle that counts. So when you find yourself at the beginning, just give hope a chance to float up. And it will.”

  1. Oh girlfriend, I'm tearing up just knowing this is your first without your sweetie. But you know he will be there with you. Richard is always in your heart and never far from your thoughts.

I wish you a very blessed Thanksgiving.

    Hugs,
    Kim

p.s. One of my favorite movies!

  2. Your table setting and decor are beautiful. I love the children's table! I hope that you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving because I agree that is what your husband would have wanted. I have been reading your blog for awhile now but never posted. Mostly because every post would have me in tears because each one is so lovely about your true love, your granddaughter or your dogs. But just wanting you know I pray for you as I know many others do that only know you from your blog.
