No place that far

Isn’t that the sweetest thing sitting at the door waiting to go bye, bye with Mommy?
Sad thing is she had no clue we were off to the vets for shots.
Oh and to all my friends at church last night who were holding Lil Ricky to try and guess her weight…we all missed it…. lol. She’s  1lb 9oz of fuzz and kisses :)

Sitting in the vet’s office today made me really miss Richard. I started to think about all the animals we have rescued through the years and how much he loved them all.  So often he was a bigger mush then I was.
I remember one time we had a very sick dog staying at the vet’s and Richard was working a second shift so he came in after I was sleeping. But this one night I happened to wake up as he was crawling into bed and saw the time and realized he was a few hours late. So through sleepy eyes I asked him if he had car trouble and if everything was all right?  He very sheepishly had to admit he was stopping at the vet’s office ever night to see our sick puppy.
I know if he was here he would not want me to give away what a mush he was. But too bad love….we all had you figured out anyway ;)
So you’re going to have to wait till I get home to yell at me my dear husband.
I thought about this... That if I live a full life I will be older then Richard when I die. I would think...I hope I’m not a really old woman and he don’t know who the hay I am…lol
Then I saw this J

Yes my beloved I’m going to finish my race…
running or crawling to get to you and Jesus.
Because there’s no place that far.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Hebrews 12:1

  1. I think that most men are mush deep down inside, but they surely won't admit it!

Little Ricky is so tiny. She looks so beautiful in her pink frilly dress. I hope that she did well at the Vet's with all of her shots.

Don't worry my friend, Richard will know you. That love light will NEVER stop shining! You're connected for eternity...

    Hugs,

  2. *hugs* What a good man!! My hubby is pure mush, I think that's why we have so many furries in such a little house.

That's a precious photo of Ricky. *loves her*
