Guess who came for breakfast?

Oh don’t mind us... we're just here to eat your shrubs.

Ok  bambi’s I think your cute and all…and I love when you stop by. However I have to draw the line when you start eating my trees!

So don’t make me sic my crazy Yorkie on you!

Good Monday morning everyone. This is the joys of living in the boonies.

Seriously I wouldn’t trade it for the world. J

  1. My daughter would throw apple cores, corn cobs, and such out for them to eat.

    1. I think that's the problem...when Richard was alive we had so many kitchen scrapes we put in the woods but I don't really cook much so I think that is why they are coming closer to the house. Poor baby's are probable hungry. Even the deer miss Richard :)

  2. We have the same problem up in NY. The family of deer that live in our back yard walk right up to the bird feeders and drain the seed right out of them. But we think they are so pretty and entertaining too. Then they eat all of my flowers which does not amuse me. But like you, wouldn't trade them for all the tea in China!

Goodness little Ricky, just what the heck is happening over there. That's an amazing picture, caught at just the right moment too.

p.s. Got to take Lily to the vet's today. She has broken out in all welts/lumps which are VERY itchie. She had something similar last season we were here and it turned into a bacterial infection all over her skin. This time there are many more bumps. So I'm counting on you Anna to put in some good words for her, pretty please..... Thanks my friend!

  3. I'm surprised the deer are so brave with all your puppies. They are pretty!

I'm the secretary of our church and we are on the edge of town and have three apple trees. We get deer once in a while that come and eat the apples that have fallen. It's fun to watch them out my window.
